WHETHER YOU WANT to put "President" George W. Bush and "Vice President" Dick Cheney in the trash, or just link to a site that (deservedly) trashes Bush and Cheney, you're in luck.

When I speak of "the trash," you should know that I'm referring to Macintosh's trash can. Unfortunately, Kaleidoscope schemes, including my "This England (Omega)" work only on Macs.

If, however, any Windows users out there are interested in the scheme (or any others I may design in future), let me know, and maybe between us we can figure out some way to port the resources to a Windows equivalent of Kaleidoscope/ShapeShifter that will take a bit less than the fourteen months I spent on "This England," painstakingly painting in the pixels in ResEdit.

I have other versions of "This England" essentially ready; I just need to paste in some resources and modify some others. After that, I have vague, long-range plans to produce an American-themed scheme ("This Land Belongs to You and Me") and some sports-themed ones (San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A's, San Jose Sharks, Golden State Warriors) as well as some other ideas. These, however, will remain no more than ideas until the current political crisis has passed and my life settles down somewhat.

Much the same applies to another area in which I would like to add downloadables sometime: games.

Here, too, I have ideas: In particular, I'd like to develop a thought-demanding action game I've had in mind, possibly to be called Paranoia. But here the problem is still worse. Not only have I not begun work, but I have never studied programming; so if I am to develop, say, Paranoia, I will need either to learn the necessary programming skills (which is dauntingly time-consuming) or find a programmer who likes the idea.

Meanwhile, should you want to link to Squort.com (in spite of its disappointing lack of Paranoia), there's a page in this section containing a variety (not a large variety, but a variety) of both text links and graphic ones. Please feel free to copy the text link HTML provided there as well as any or all of the graphics, along with the accompanying HTML to paste into your page.

If you link to us, please e-mail me and let me know.

If you operate a site devoted in whole or part to any of the subjects addressed on my site, and would like a reciprocal link, write me here, and after reviewing your site I will very probably include it on my next update on whichever of my links pages is appropriate.
