Kaleidoscope Schemesand Dick Cheney in the trash? Now you can.
Meticulously designed, with all the resources a Kaleidoscope scheme can contain, from system icons to sound effects, "This England" is filled with surprises and "Easter eggs" that you will never see unless you download it. Unusual features include the trash icon (a TV set that goes on when the trash is full) and the cursor (a glowing sword that may be Excalibur). Note: Some of the "Easter eggs" are quite well hidden; you may have to open the scheme in ResEdit to find them ... just don't do it while the scheme is actually running or your Mac will crash like a thallium dirigible. Kaleidoscope is an extension (actually an application that runs as part of the system heap) which allows you radically to alter the appearance of your entire interfaceor even design your own interfaces, as I have done. Visit the Kaleidoscope site for more information and to download the $20 shareware Kaleidoscope 2.3.1, which you will need to run my or any other schemes.
If you have any questions, concerns or comments about my schemes, contact me here. (Please do not write me with any questions about Kaleidoscope itself; those should be directed to the Kaleidoscope site mentioned above.) Again, all the schemes on this page are freeware, but if you really like my work and think it deserves a reward, or you just want to help a struggling artist keep his wartpiglet in acorns, I won't refuse a donationjust e-mail me or visit my donation page and send me any amount you like via PayPal. * John of Gaunt's speech in King Richard the Second**, Act II, Scene I. ** Not to be confused with King Richard the Secord.
